"Beautiful Blur" is a maracatu, a style from northeastern Brazil. The title comes from Shoshana Bass of Sandglass Theater — it's something I overheard her say, or misheard her saying, I'm not sure which. Michael Zsoldos on flute and John Wheeler on trombone contribute beautiful solos.
