This is a solo for tanbou bèlè. a drum from Martinique. The drum lies on the ground; the drummer straddles it and uses one heel to bend pitches. Accompaniment by berimbau, which also bends pitches. The rhythm, one of the only traditional rhythms on this album, is a Bulgarian kopanitsa in 11/8.
